Valued

My devotional the other day was talking about this verse in Matthew 25 which says---

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.  And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows" God tells us flat our right here, that we are valued so much by him. It's interesting how we expect others to value us but we forget to remember that God loves us and values us more than we an can ever imagine. I do think that others should value us, especially our friends. But in those times when we feel like we aren't being valued by others we must remember that we are precious and honored in his sight. This verse is not the only place in the bible that states it, here are some others---
"She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her"-Proverbs 3:18
 "Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you,  nations in exchange for your life"-Isaiah 43:4.
These verses remind us of the all consuming love that God has for us and how he values each and every one of us so much. Even in those times when we feel like we are not being valued by others, the truth is, God loves us more than we can even imagine and in those times he is right there to tell us were going to be okay. Isaiah 43 makes it clear that we are Precious and honored in his sight and that nothing can seperate us from God. Amen to that! So remember in those times when you are feeling "unvalued", remember that God values each and every one of us so much! So, go, grab your bible and soak up his word!
