Praise Him Daily

My devotional today was talking about Psalm 33:1-5 which says--- "Let the godly sing for joy to the Lord;it is fitting for the pure to praise him. Praise the Lord with melodies on the lyre;make music for him on the ten-stringed harp. Sing a new song of praise to him; play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy.For the word of the Lord holds true,and we can trust everything he does. He loves whatever is just and good;the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth"-Psalm 33:1-5
This verse reminded me that we should praise God all the time, even in those moments when we feel like were nothing is working out. Also when something exciting is going on like a wedding or vacation, it's so easy to get wrapped up in these things and then we miss God's whispers of Grace in our lives. We miss those times when God brings us somewhere that was not planned by us, but by him. Those are some of the best moments. those are times when i feel so humbled...when i don't know what to expect. These are the times when i am reminded that God's plans are so much better than my own. These are the moments when i refocus and stand in awe of him, because he deserves the credit not me.  As the verse says--"For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does..." So go, grab your bible and listen for those whispers of Grace in your life.
