Imagine

My devotional the other day was talking about Ephesians 3:14-21. A I read this verse i was reminded of  how much God fills me up with him everyday. And how as verse twenty says--- 1"who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine..."  I don't know about you but this has been so true in my life, God has done so much more than i can ask or imagine. He never ceases to amaze me, he always provides no matter what. He is so good! The second part of the verse that says--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God, has been my prayer this summer, that God would fill me up with more of him everyday! It's truly humbling how much God is working in my life and in the lives of those around me. I was also reminded that in those times when we doubt what God can do, he surprises us and as the verse says, he who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine. So remember in those times when you are feeling unsure or doubtful, just know that God will provide and he will most likely surprise you...so just wait patiently before the Lord and seek him with all your heart!

"For this reason I kneel before the Father,  from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,  may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,  to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."--Ephesians 3:20
