Depths of God

This summer God has been teaching me so much! i love it, every bit of it! My prayer this summer has been that he would fill me up daily with him and he has...he never ceases to amaze me that's for sure. Anyways, i was reading my devotional for today and it was talking about 1 Corinthians 2:10-16. As i read these verses the part that stuck out to me the most was verse ten which says---"these things God has revealed to us through the spirit; for the spirit searches everything, even the depths of God..." The last part of the verse that talks about the depths of God, really made me think about what it means to search the depths of God.  It would be like if you were trying to search out everything you could find about one person and then you had to reveal it to others so that they would know the information to. It's just like what we are called to do as Christians, spread the gospel to to others so that they will know the hope that is within us. (see 1 Peter) The verse  says, the spirit searches everything, even the depths of God...wow. The spirit searches the depths of God, through this searching the spirit reveals to us things that God wants us to know and hear. So basically we need to trust in him and he will provide. Wait patiently upon Lord. which i must admit is not always easy to do but with God's help we can do anything. So go, grab your bible and soak up this verse and search the depths of God.
