Love never Fails

Lately i have been reading through 1 John, as you know the recurring theme throughout is love. 1 John 4:7-19 tells us that God is love.  God loves us more than we can even imagine, even in those times when we feel broken, God is right there loving us and making sure that we know it will be okay. Just trust him. He's got you covered.  "We love because he first loved us". Verse 18 says--"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love..." As i think about this verse, i am reminded of what God calls us to do every single day, every moment of our walk with him...to love. As verse eighteen says,  There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. As i read these words i am reminded of this song by Brandon Heath called--"Love never Fails"
