Grown up

My devotional today talked about being grown up, here's what it had to say....
When i was a junior in college, i lived in a house with seven other women, including several seniors i grew quite close to. Toward the end of the school year, i became extra conscious of the fact that our time together was short, that we were growing up faster than we knew. - Sarah Arthur

This got me thinking about how quickly we are all growing up, i am now 22 and i feel old. Even though i know i'm not, there are still those times that i feel so old. My friend and i were just thinking about all of the stuff that we have to do before the end of the year and we were so stressed about it all...but then i suggested we pray and give it all to God because we know we can't do it without him. It reminded me of the importance of prayer and how important it is to just sit and talk to God because he wants to know about all of our cares and concerns...that's why he's here. So i encourage you to just pray and tell God whats on your heart. Then he will take control of it and his will, will be done in your life. amen to that! Romans 12:12 says, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.", Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart"- Psalm 37:4.
