This stuck out to me in my devotional for today- "Sanctification happens through God's Holy Spirit at work in us whenever we participate in the spiritual disciplines that Jesus himself participated in. The spiritual disciplines aren't the doorway to heaven, but they are the doorway to the presence of God here on earth." What if other's decided to follow us in doing this?
After i read this i started to think about how we are called to live holy lives just as our father in heaven lived a holy life. soak this verse up...
1 Peter 1:15-16
"Instead as he who has called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; for it is written, you shall be holy, for I am holy"
