Phillippians 1:22- In awe of the one who gave it all

Philippians 1:22 says, "For to me, living is Christ and dying is gain." As i was reading this verse in my bible today, i was thinking of the song by Hillsong called The Stand and where it says in the song, "So i'll  stand arms high and heart abandoned, in awe of the one who gave it all.  These words that we are singing to God are so powerful, yet sometimes we don't even realize all that he paid the ultimate sacrifice for us. I think this is something that should not be taken lightly. What Paul is saying in this verse is that with Christ we find life and without him we go down a path of destruction. Even though there is still suffering in our lives, we can still find good in what God has for us because his plan for our lives is so much greater than ours. I encourage you to trust that what God has for you is good even though you might not think so right now.
