He will be Your Guide

God is your guide--ponder that for a second. A Guide is someone who shows us the way when we don't know what to do and is someone that we put our trust in to guide us to a place of safety. That my dear sisters is what God does for us. He is our guide in the mist of suffering, loss, pain...etc. He's always right there to pick us back up, just as the verse below reminds us. "The Lord will guide you always;he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame"--I love this part of the verse because it really captures the essence of God's unfailing love for each and every one of us. He will satisfy your needs in a sun scorched land"--he satisfies all our needs, that's right sisters, every single one of them. He longs to know the desires of our hearts so that he can pursue us more and more each day as he guides our hearts toward the plans that he has for us. Then the last part of the verse says--"You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail"--when i read this i am reminded that god is unchanging and he never fails to love us more than we can even imagine. He is our guide in times of suffering and our hope when we don't know what to do. Rest in that truth tonight my dear sisters. rest in the truth that this verse provides, rest in his guidance.

 Isaiah 58:11
