It's been a hard week but in the midst of this hard week God has provided little moments that have made my heart smile and say to myself...."God you really have a sense of humor". Just yesterday i was reading in my bible and i came across this verse..
12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
After i read it i said to myself "thanks God, i really needed that today." It got me thinking how even though i was having a rough week God was still there to tell me that despite the suffering that I may be going through, he will provide me with the joy that i need to get through the day. No matter what happens in our lives God will still be faithful and he will be the light in the midst of the darkness when everything seems to be going wrong. This verse really helped me to find joy in my suffering. I encourage you to go grab your bible and open it up and soak up God's word because as a friend reminded me earlier this week that "God is good even when you can't see it".
