Contentment.

I was reading this devotional earlier this week and it was talking about being content, weather we are single or married it is hard to put our selfish emotions aside and listen to God. If we surrender everything to him, we will in turn see the beauty of Gods work in our lives.  I used to struggle with the fact that i had never had a boyfriend but now that i am older i realize that when God feels it's right he will bring that person into my life that i am supposed to be with. I strive to continually seek him first in all things and every night before i go to bed i pray that he would have his way in my life and not my own. Because God's plans are so much better than our own. Psalm 107:9 says "for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things".
