Good Reminder

Tonight, i opened up my bible to Colossians  3, at the end of the chapter there was a verse that really made me stop and read it again.  I think it's so important that whatever we do in life glorifies God. This verse is a good reminder of that and when i read this verse i had an "a ha" moment..you know those moments when you read something and it clicks right away :) 


"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not man"-Colossians 3:23. 


"As Gods chosen ones, holy and beloved clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive. Above all clothe, yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony"-Colossians 3:12-14


This second part was a reminder that love is so important in our relationships with others, i must admit i do fail at this when it comes to people that i don't like. It's hard, but it's gotten easier. God just keeps reminding me that it's so important to love people just as he loves us. Every time i read this verse i am reminded of that. So tonight, i encourage you to clothe yourself with love  and show that to all of those around you.
