Another Reminder of God's Peace

Here is a verse i got today in email-  "You will keep in Perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you"- Isaiah 26:3. It really made me think about the fact that with God we have perfect peace by trusting in him and not thinking we can do it by ourselves because we really can't. I encourage you to trust in him and know that no matter what he will be there right with you even if you are going through a rough time in your life, he is always there :) This brings me to my second thought, lately i've been reading a book called The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning, each time i read it i am amazed how much God is speaking to me through this book. I began reading it earlier this summer and in the beginning of the book, i was amazed how what the author was saying on the pages, was exactly what i have been thinking about this summer. So far it's been a really great book that i would reccomend to everyone. Brennan's main message throughout the book is that we are all "ragamuffins" and once we realize that we will be able to put ourselves in the shoes of others.
