“For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it"-Matthew 16:25.
When i read this verse today, it really made me think about what it means to lose your life for God. Again i go back to the start of the first church in Acts chapter 2, how they really demonstrated this verse. They lived in community with one another and gave up what they had to show their love and grow deeper together in their relationship with God. This amazes me. God has given me such joy in knowing there are people out there who give up their lives to follow God and his plans. I am going to South Africa on my cross cultural in January and my prayer is that God breaks my heart for what breaks his. I hope to be apart of becoming the church i've always dreamed about. I encourage you to read acts chapter 2 and soak it up!
