At the Foot of the Cross

Tonight I was working on a group project for my Gospels and acts class and we have to watch a movie about Jesus's life and then critically review it. My group picked the Passion of the Christ and as I was watching it i was reminded of the suffering that Jesus went through on the cross and how much it hurt to even watch it. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for me and you, I think that pretty incredible. It really made me stop and think about how much Jesus loves us and how we would be nothing without him. The whole time the song by hill song at the foot of the cross was playing in my head and i was reminded of the sacrifice that Jesus paid on the cross. I encourage you to think about the sacrifice that he paid for you and how much he loves us all so much even though we sin sometimes. We live in a sinful world but we don't have to be consumed by the sin that the world brings into our lives, i encourage you also to think about this and just go outside or sit in your room and open your bible and soak up God's word :)
