John 3:30- I must become less.

I was reading in my devotional book called "My up most for his highest. It was talking about when someone in our lives is going through a rough time or doesn't know God, we should pray that there situation get's so bad that there's nothing else for them to reach out to but God. Instead of trying to "fix" them ourselves we should allow them to feel the pain they are going through and also be there for them at the same time but not try to fix their problem. I think that sometimes we get to so caught up in fixing the problem or not letting the person go through the pain, that we really prevent them from reaching out to God sometimes. John 3:30 says, "He must become greater; I must become less." So i encourage you to fill up your lives more with God and less of you, because that's what he longs from us, is that intimate relationship with him.
